CRAFTING THE NARRATIVE

For these project I staged one of my short stories. My main aim was to portray, in a dynamic and theatrical way, how someone can have many different realities and emotions at the same time.
The first reality used arranged sets and vibrant colours to portray the character's external perception of perfection, with static shots and a sarcastic narrator adding to the theatrical feel. The second reality, shot in a controlled studio environment, focused on the character's drug-induced journey, with techno music and free-form dancing creating an immersive atmosphere. The third uses very low lighting, slow music and raw and long takes.
